There have been so many people who learned how to smoke because of their state of mind. The fact is, psychological factors greatly affect the mood of a person to urge him to have a stick in his mouth to puff. Commonly, there are four states of mind which can lead to smoking; Hungry, Angry, Lonely and Tired. Hungry - if you are hungry, food is the best answer to that problem and not cigarette. If you are one of the people who will grab a lighter and a cigarette if hungry, you are lucky enough because you can easily overcome it by eating your favorite food. Again, it is just your state of mind you'll have to defeat. Angry - although, not all people who become angry take smoking as their past time, still it can lead to it especially if there are no other things to do. Being angry may often lead to mental stress every time that is why smoking may always be associated with this state of mind. Lonely - there'll maybe times that you'll need someone to talk but you cannot find everybody. During these times, you will easily be tempted to smoke because you are bored. Loneliness comes with boredom that is why the more you spend your time alone, the higher the risk to smoke. Tired - some people may be athletic enough to go to gym right after all day's work but more spend a couple of minutes to stand outside the office and smoke a stick or two. A lot of people find smoking a relief for stress, however, the best remedy if you are tired is to get some rest and not smoke. |
