Consequences of smoking and Cholesterol

Cholesterol is discovered in virtually all the regions the physical structure. This is a wax like, fat that builds up in the blood vessels. It is necessary for the creation of endocrines, cell membranes, and of value for the operation of the body. The troubles begin to appear once there is an increase in cholesterol level in the body. High cholesterol level in the body can narrow down the arterial blood vessels, which in time causes blockages in them.
 This causes the blood supply of the blood vessels to become disrupted. This can lead to several types of heart diseases and untreated could lead to death. Smoking increases the level of cholesterol in bloodstream, which then raises the danger of acquiring a heart conditions. Cholesterol could either be bad or beneficial cholesterol, bad cholesterol known as, low density lipoprotein or LDL cholesterol. This type of cholesterol is deposited in the walls of the arterial blood vessels, which then blocks them. This causes disruption of blood supply resulting in atherosclerosis and other types of heart disease.   Smoking causes the LDL to increase, which is bad and HDL is the good cholesterol is not raised by smoking. LDL carries the cholesterol to the liver from the arteries amd LDL blocks the passage of the blood. Generally, a decreased level of HDL cholesterol is found among those people that smoke. This is due to the fact that smoking reduces the level of HDL and increases the level of LDL. Therefore, smoking could double the risk of contracting heart diseases.
