There are people who have been used to having alternative medicines and remedies, thus, their body may not be able to adjust well if they are going to use pharmaceutical medicines to help them in their conquest to quit smoking. Fortunately, there are still other ways that they can use and those are the alternative methods and remedies. Here are the two of them;

#1. Acupuncture - it is an ancient style of healing almost all kinds of diseases and illnesses. It uses needles to be placed in the appropriate spot of the body so that stimulus to the brain will either be stopped or sent. With this method, it has been proven to help someone addicted to nicotine cope up with withdrawal symptoms.

#2. Hypnosis - this method or remedy puts the person into another state of mind where he can be very susceptible to suggestions or commands. Others find this method effective enough while others still haven't seen its advantage in helping someone quit smoking.

Everyone has his own level of tolerance when it comes to treatments. Therefore, there are times that one method or treatment will work in one person but can be ineffective to the other. It would be better to know your own self so that you can have idea what the treatments which you can use are.
